The Ultimate Christmas Fair will show festive looks from Liverpool celebrity designer Mark Melia
The four-day event at Exhibition Centre Liverpool will include an exclusive Fashion & Fizz Evening.
Liverpool designer Mark Melia will be showcasing his festive fashion looks at The Ultimate Christmas Fair in the city this month.
Mark, whose showroom is based on School Lane, has celebrity fans including Carol Vorderman – who regularly chooses him for red carpet events – and Coronation Street favourites Brooke Vincent and Michelle Keegan.
He will headline an exclusive Fashion & Fizz Evening, which takes place on the first day of the fair at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
The evening, on Thursday November 26, will be fronted by Heart FM presenter Lorna Bancroft and will allow shoppers to browse more than 200 independent boutiques and brands – including fashion, food and beauty. There’ll also be a chance to pick up tips from some of the UK’s best style and beauty experts in a series of fashion shows.
Mark, who dressed Carol Vorderman at the Pride of Britain Awards and created Michelle Keegan’s bridesmaid dresses, will be sharing his new collections and offering advice on how to dress for the party season.
“Whether it’s an LBD for the office party or a fabulous dress for Christmas Eve, it’s the perfect time to pull out all the stops and show off some style,” he says.
“I loved the concept behind The Ultimate Christmas Fair and the fact it’s all about quality products which you can’t find on the high street, so signing up to the Fashion & Fizz Evening was a no-brainer and I can’t wait to reveal some of my latest looks.
“Hopefully, the catwalk show will give our lovely ladies – and gents – some inspiration for the festive season and encourage them to step outside their comfort zones to try something new and fabulous!”
Featuring independent boutiques and national retailers, live workshops, demonstrations, an exclusive Festive Food Hall and over 40 fashion shows, The Ultimate Christmas Fair takes place from 26 to 29 November. Visitors can also enjoy live entertainment from The Rockabellas, Hark the Herald and BBC Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year finalists, Get Gospel.
Tickets to the Fashion & Fizz Evening are priced from £11.50, and entry to the main event starts at £14.95. All proceeds from children’s tickets will go to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital charity.
